To live fully, healthfully, and naturally is the goal of
every product we design and produce.
“The Earth is what we all have in common”
Reducing our Carbon Footprint
Natural Form has been committed to environmental sustainable practices since opening our doors in 1990. For us, recycling materials in our production process made sense from the beginning. Recycling our fabrics and foam materials not only creates a healthier environment, but it also keeps the cost of a mattress for you lower. The construction of our mattress involves the assembly of several components, so if something is malfunctioning there is no need to rid of the entire mattress. Instead, we easily send a replacement piece for free under the warranty, extending the life of your mattress, your budget, and our planet.
Our manufacturing facility in Vermont is a shared workspace. We partner with other businesses to operate under one roof, instead of developing precious Vermont greenspace. With a 100-night sleep trial instead of retail stores, we are reducing the amount of occupied space that it takes to produce a high quality product.
Transportation can cause a huge toll on the environment, and so our mattresses are made in Vermont unlike our competitors who source from overseas. To take it a step further, many of our employees commute to work together, and we even have a bus stop at our facility to encourage public transportation.
Our largest effort in carbon footprint production, however, has been with the new installation of the largest rooftop solar panel field in the state of Vermont. We are proud to say our facilities operate off of our 100% solar energy, allowing us to propel Vermont’s energy goals, all the while having enough to give back to other Vermonters.
In our FDA registered facility, every mattress is chemical-free and assembled by hand. We utilize non-irritating fabrics and materials, so that you can breathe easy. We have always manufactured mattresses free of formaldehyde, fire-retardants, CFC’s, or phthalates. Read more about our CertiPUR-US certifications here.
Our mattresses were designed originally with your health in mind. With mattresses in over 1,200 hospitals, our mattress assembly and testing meets the highest clinical standards. Don’t trust us? Trust the top health institutions.
